## Description

Associazione Niccolò Stenone ODV is a volunteer social and healthcare organization based in Florence, Italy. It provides free medical support to people who face barriers to accessing general or specialist care, including Italian and foreign residents, people without a residence permit or enrollment in Italy’s National Health Service, and those experiencing socioeconomic hardship. Its aim extends beyond individual appointments: the association helps patients manage their health, understand available care, and find their way through the national health system.

Services include general and specialist medical consultations, dental care, essential nursing services, physiotherapy and osteopathy for pain and musculoskeletal conditions, and mental health support. Consultations and diagnostic services are free. The Florence clinic also accepts patients with STP or ENI documentation, and people may attend directly or be referred by an association, parish center, or listening center. At a first visit, patients receive an appointment with a general practitioner.

Located on Via del Leone, the association welcomes volunteers and donations to sustain its work serving people whose right to healthcare is difficult to exercise.
