## Description

STEP Australia is the Australian branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a global professional association for people who advise families on planning and managing assets across generations. Its mission is to build confidence in family wealth planning by upholding professional standards, supporting education, informing public policy, and connecting practitioners to share knowledge and best practice.

The organisation serves trust and estate professionals through membership, technical resources, a library, mentorship, professional recognition, and access to international connections. Members can use its directory and network, receive exclusive offers and discounted access to selected courses, events, and resources, and participate in local branch activities. STEP Australia also provides educational opportunities, including seminars, conferences, and on-demand webinars featuring expertise in trusts and estates.

Through its National Policy Committee, STEP Australia advocates on trust and estate matters and publishes policy submissions informed by its members. It also shares industry news, newsletters, and updates, and supports professional development through events and partnerships with education and industry organisations.
