## Description

Stephanie Jankowski is a Pittsburgh-based writer, author, and English teacher whose work combines humor with candid observations about teaching, motherhood, and everyday family life. Guided by the motto “Life is too short, laugh,” she brings a smart, sassy voice to stories about the challenges and absurdities of being a woman, parent, and educator. Jankowski is a freelance contributor to We Are Teachers and has been published in the parenting humor anthologies I Just Want to Be Alone, The Big Book of Parenting Tweets, and The Bigger Book of Parenting Tweets. Her book, SCHOOLED: A Love Letter to the Exhausting, Infuriating, Occasionally Excruciating Yet Somehow Completely Wonderful Profession of Teaching, shares laugh-out-loud stories from the classroom. She also writes the blog When Crazy Meets Exhaustion, featuring humorous reflections on family and work, and co-directs Listen To Your Mother Pittsburgh, a live-reading celebration of motherhood. Her essays “I Put My Husband First” and “The Worst Mother I’ve Ever Seen” have reached readers internationally.
