Steps Conductive Education Centre is a registered charity and specialist early years setting supporting children with motor impairments, motor development delays, and other conditions affecting the development of motor skills. Founded in 1994 by four families who saw the benefits of Conductive Education for their children, Steps focuses on each child’s potential and aims to help them build skills and make progress.

Its sessions follow the principles of Conductive Education, including a structured daily routine that integrates learning into activities. Steps works with the whole family, offering care and support alongside its child-focused services. The centre also provides family groups and Chatterbox sessions, giving children opportunities to play and connect while parents can meet others, share experiences, and learn practical ideas to use at home.

Steps offers information for professionals, including service details and referral guidance, and provides mentoring and practical guidance for students learning about Conductive Education. The charity invites people to support its work through volunteering, fundraising, donations, legacy giving, and its monthly prize lottery.
