## Description

Netwerk Sterven & Rouw Zuid-Limburg is a collaborative network of organisations working across South Limburg to support people facing death, arranging a funeral, or coping with bereavement. Its members provide care, advice and guidance during what can be an unfamiliar and emotionally difficult time, and the network’s website helps visitors understand the support available and find relevant organisations.

Services cover several stages of the experience. For people who are terminally ill and their loved ones, members offer support for informal carers, help with questions of meaning, palliative care and end-of-life guidance. Funeral-related support may include funeral directors, crematoria, cemeteries, professional speakers and ritual guides, as well as help planning a funeral in advance. After a loss, support can include bereavement guidance, contact with others who have experienced loss, financial or administrative assistance, and help with matters such as settling an estate.

The network also lists activities organised by its partners and hosts the Festival Voor Mijn Dood, with its next edition scheduled for September 2026.
