## Description

Stichting RIK is a Dutch foundation that works to make sport accessible to people of different ages and abilities. In collaboration with sportschool Hit & Health, it offers opportunities to improve both physical and mental wellbeing through sport and movement. Its projects include kickboxing-based resilience training for women, where participants work with a psychologist to reflect on how they approach life and build confidence. Children’s training uses kickboxing exercises to help them learn, in an engaging way, how to stand up for themselves and make appropriate choices. RIK also supports people with disabilities, including wheelchair users, who can take part in boxing, learn kickboxing techniques and release everyday frustrations. The foundation’s wider aim is to help participants become mentally stronger and support their physical health. Stichting RIK welcomes people with varied needs and experience, and emphasizes clear, supportive guidance from trainers. Those interested can arrange a free consultation to discuss their goals and explore suitable activities.
