## Description

Stichting ZO is a small organisation based in Tiel, the Netherlands, providing day activities for people with support needs. Founded in 2001 by Helène and Chava Herschel, the foundation focuses on creative participation and aims to take account of each participant’s individual wishes and needs. Its activities include visual arts, theatre, dance, music, film and photography, alongside sport and games. Stichting ZO works with professional support workers and teachers, as well as experienced volunteers who help deliver its programmes.

In partnership with Zinder, the Tiel cultural organisation, Stichting ZO offers ZO doe je DaT, a dance and theatre course designed especially for people with intellectual disabilities. Dance sessions introduce different styles and invite participants to learn or create movements, while theatre activities include role-play, voice and movement exercises, text and mime. The foundation also presents performances and creative projects. Stichting ZO is preparing to offer ZO Wonen in Tiel, with a residential group and ambulant living support planned.
