## Description

Stiftung Jugend musiziert Niedersachsen is a foundation dedicated to supporting outstanding young musicians from Lower Saxony who have achieved success in the regional or national Jugend musiziert competition. It helps emerging artists develop their skills and pursue opportunities during a formative stage of their musical careers.

The foundation provides scholarships and study visits, and supports masterclasses, chamber music instruction and ensemble formation. Its assistance can also help young musicians access performances with orchestras, acquire instruments, cover travel costs and produce audio recordings. Through these forms of support, the foundation seeks to strengthen talented performers and open pathways into the music world.

Its activities include epoche f international, a masterclass in contemporary music with the Ensemble Modern, as well as concerts and opportunities for competition prizewinners to perform. The foundation also shares concert reports and information about events, including prizewinner concerts.

Based in Bremen, Stiftung Jugend musiziert Niedersachsen invites individuals to support its work through donations or by becoming contributors. Its patron is Olaf Lies, the Minister-President of Lower Saxony.
