## Description

Stiftung Leben und Arbeiten is a foundation based in Lilienthal, Germany, dedicated to promoting communities where people with and without disabilities can live and work together. Its work supports a more accessible society in which diversity is part of everyday life. The foundation has established living environments designed to provide residents with a genuine home, offering different forms of housing for people who need assistance.

Through its Ottersberger Manufakturen, the foundation operates workshops recognised as facilities for people with disabilities (WfbM). These workshops provide a range of work fields, alongside a vocational training area. The foundation also runs the Seminar für Sozialtherapie, which offers a three-year, practice-integrated programme to train specialist care workers.

Stiftung Leben und Arbeiten employs staff across its services and publishes current vacancies through its jobs portal. Its website also shares news, contact information and details about its work and projects, including planned care housing at the Niels-Stensen-Haus. A shop is among the foundation’s services, and visitors can find information in accessible, easy-to-understand language.
