## Description

The Ruth Cohn Foundation for the Promotion of Young Adults supports young people through education in Theme-Centered Interaction (TCI), the approach developed by Ruth C. Cohn. Its scholarships help participants build personal and professional skills and develop the confidence to take social and personal responsibility grounded in humanist and ethical values. The foundation currently awards approximately 15 to 20 scholarships each year, of up to €500 depending on applicants’ financial need.

In cooperation with the Förderverein TZI-Ausbildung für Junge Erwachsene, it also supports affordable TCI courses for people aged 18 to 27. The foundation’s biennial science prize recognizes strong academic work focused on TCI, encouraging research and the further development of the approach. The award is worth €1,000, with additional support available for publication.

As a nonprofit organization, the foundation is funded by donations, regular contributions and endowments, which help sustain its educational work. It is committed to transparency and is a member of the German Association of Foundations.
