## Description

The Stiftung Sozialwerk St. Georg is a charitable foundation based in Gelsenkirchen and part of the Sozialwerk St. Georg organization, which provides social services across many parts of North Rhine-Westphalia. The foundation’s mission is to promote inclusion and help people supported by the organization live more self-determined lives and participate more fully in society. It funds meaningful, sustainable projects for people with cognitive disabilities, mental health conditions or social difficulties, as well as children and young people unable to live at home and people requiring care. Through donations and project fundraising, the foundation supports practical improvements and enriching experiences in everyday life. Its initiatives include creative and community spaces, additional support for autistic children, family-based supported living, and employment preparation for hospitality work. Funding has also enabled garden amenities, music activities, health events, equipment and cultural programs. Individuals, organizations and businesses can contribute by donating to current projects. The foundation connects charitable giving with concrete opportunities for greater participation, well-being and inclusion.
