## Description

Still Waters Counseling is a family-friendly mental health practice founded in 2000 and serving clients in Ann Arbor and Saline, Michigan, as well as online. Its mission is to provide confidential, compassionate care in a warm, judgment-free environment, helping individuals and families work toward greater well-being. The practice offers individual, family, couples, and relationship counseling; psychiatric medication management and consultation; comprehensive psychological and autism evaluations; and substance use assessments and treatment. Additional services include trauma therapy, parenting support and training, outpatient group therapy, social-emotional groups for children and teens, and groups for women with ADHD. Care is tailored to concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, relationship difficulties, and other mental health needs. The multidisciplinary team includes counselors, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Therapists draw on approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, EFT, ACT, IFS, and mindfulness, while the practice emphasizes whole-person care, diversity, and trauma-informed treatment. Still Waters accepts many commercial insurance plans and offers both in-person and teletherapy appointments.
