## Description

Stir-Friday Night! is Chicago's longest-running Asian-American comedy troupe, founded in 1995. As a nonprofit theater company, we have established ourselves as one of the nation's premier platforms for Asian-American voices in comedy. Our talented ensemble, featuring notable alumni such as Steven Yeun, Danny Pudi, and Mary Sohn, performs a diverse range of improv and sketch shows that aim to entertain while educating audiences from an Asian-American perspective.

Based in Chicago, we collaborate with esteemed organizations like The Second City and iO, bringing laughter and cultural insight to stages across the country. Our performances are designed not only to amuse but also to deliver relatable messages that resonate with various audiences. We are committed to showcasing the talents of AAPI artists through initiatives like HAIBAYÔ, a community showcase that invites singers, comedians, and other performers to share their art. Stir-Friday Night! thrives on community support, with donations fueling our creative endeavors and helping us continue our mission of laughter and inclusivity.
