# Stitch Maps - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `stitch-maps.com` ## Description Stitch Maps is an online resource for knitters that presents stitch patterns as visual charts called stitch maps. Unlike conventional charts arranged on grids, stitch maps place symbols in a flowing layout that reflects how knitted stitches connect across rows, helping users see the structure of a pattern more clearly. The site offers a growing collection of familiar stitch designs and newer patterns, with tools to search by name, cast-on multiple, or tags, as well as browse at leisure. Users can customize how maps appear by displaying row guides, tracing stitch columns, and choosing the number of repeats shown. A sample is available to explore, and visitors can contribute patterns by entering written instructions; free registration is required to add them. Subscribers gain additional features, including highlighting the current row, exporting publication-quality map images, and managing the visibility of their contributions. Stitch Maps also provides learning resources such as a symbol key, abbreviations list, Knitspeak guide, tips, and an FAQ. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Crafts _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/StitchMaps) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/c/StitchMaps) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idReY9uMqI/w/188/h/188/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790743801009) - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idReY9uMqI/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790743800922) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Mine Shaft | #333333 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | | Persian Green | #009a9a | accent | ## Fonts - Tahoma — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
