## Description

Stitch is a social community for adults aged 50 and over, created to help members build meaningful connections and enjoy a richer social life. Founded in Sydney, Australia, more than a decade ago, it has grown to over 400,000 members in communities around the world. Recognized by the United Nations for its positive impact on members, Stitch brings people together through shared interests, companionship and activities.

Members can discover or organize group outings such as dinners, movie trips and visits to exhibitions, as well as join interest groups, discussions and virtual events. The community also supports friendships, intimacy and travel companionship, helping people connect in ways that suit them, whether online or in person. Stitch works across phones, tablets and computers, and offers a free limited membership.

Safety is central to the service: members must complete a verification check before communicating, helping confirm they are over 50 and reduce contact from scammers. Stitch also uses 256-bit data encryption and SSL security to protect member information.
