# St James' Heritage - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `stjamesheritage.com` ## Description St James’ Heritage and Environment Group is an independent, volunteer-run organisation based in the west end of Newcastle. The group promotes, celebrates and shares the heritage of the area, helping local residents and visitors explore its history and places of interest. Its work centres on St James’ Church and graveyard, with information about the church’s history and people buried in the graveyard. The group also supports wider interest in West End local history through a range of resources and activities, including books, films, talks, heritage trails, guides and audio recordings. Its website provides access to past events, exhibitions, newsletters and educational resources for schools, as well as puzzle books and information about the Benwell Community Development Project. By bringing together historical material and opportunities to learn, the organisation offers ways for people to engage with Newcastle’s West End and its heritage. Visitors can browse the group’s resources, find out about its activities and contact the organisation through its website. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🎗 Community and Society - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idKRyNWxBi/w/500/h/500/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792959569174) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Fun Green | #009935 | accent | | Gray Asparagus | #4b4c4b | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
