About
Description
St. Joseph Food Program, based in Menasha, WI, is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to Fighting Hunger. Sustaining Hope.
Since its inception in 1982, the program has relied on the support of a compassionate community to fulfill its mission. Without any state or federal grants, the program depends on donations of food, money, and volunteer time to reach out to families in need. Each week, St.
Joseph Food Program serves about 500 families from its facility. To ensure a consistent supply of necessities, the program purchases non-perishables and fresh produce in addition to accepting donations. All guests are thoroughly screened to determine eligibility, and they have access to a variety of essential items, including fresh produce, bakery goods, dairy products, meat, non-perishables, and paper products.
St. Joseph Food Program also works collaboratively with other community organizations, accepting referrals from agencies assisting a similar demographic. By providing a seamless experience for individuals and families, the program aims to remove barriers to service and encourage them on a path to wellness.
You can support St. Joseph Food Program by donating your time, money, or food. If you are in need, you can register for an interview to receive food free-of-charge.
Join the team of dedicated volunteers who make a difference or host a food drive to collect donations. Contact St. Joseph Food Program to learn more about how you can help fight hunger and sustain hope in your community
