## Description

St. John’s Home for Elderly Persons is a registered charity and Institution of a Public Character in Singapore, established in December 1958. Its mission is to provide shelter and care for people aged over 60 who are ambulant and have no home or close relatives with adequate resources to support them. Guided by Christian values, the Home welcomes residents regardless of race or religion and seeks to meet their physical and spiritual needs.

Located at 1 Willow Avenue, the Home is licensed to accommodate up to 144 residents. Its services include residential and respite care, physiotherapy, counselling, fellowship gatherings, medical escort services for residents, and other programmes and activities. Facilities include furnished resident rooms, a dedicated physiotherapy area, a hydrotherapy pool, and technology to support timely care and monitor residents’ wellbeing. The Home also offers financial assistance to eligible residents who cannot afford the fees. St. John’s Home is planning to transition from a sheltered home to a nursing home by September 2026, expanding care for people with higher needs.
