## Description

The St. John Genealogy & DNA Project serves as a gateway for descendants of the St. John family to explore their rich heritage through DNA testing and historical analysis. Offering comprehensive DNA tests—including autosomal, Y-DNA, and mtDNA—this initiative helps individuals uncover familial connections and genealogical histories. Established in 2001 by descendants of Sir William St. John and Thomas St. John from Highlight Abbey, Wales, the project is dedicated to tracing the lineage of the St. John family, emphasizing their ties to notable historical events, including the founding of the Jamestown Colony and early American settlements.

The official website, www.stjohngenealogy.com, hosts extensive records and unique Y-DNA signatures, creating a valuable resource for anyone interested in the St. John ancestry or seeking to validate their genetic connections. Through detailed research efforts, the project aims to accurately document the family's historical narratives while correcting past genealogical errors to better serve the community of St. John descendants worldwide.
