## Description

St John’s DermAcademy is a dermatology education and training initiative established in 2017 at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London. Led by experienced clinicians and academics, it provides evidence-based, clinically focused learning for healthcare professionals, including hospital and community practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals. Its programme is designed around learners’ needs and aims to support better care for people with skin conditions in the UK and internationally.

The Academy offers live and hybrid educational events, courses, fellowships, observerships, the St John’s Diploma, and an MSc in Clinical Dermatology. Topics include skin cancer, psychodermatology, and phototherapy. It also provides educational videos, research resources, newsletters, and podcasts for healthcare professionals and the wider public, including its Skin Conversations series. Patient events and information are available alongside professional training.

St John’s DermAcademy’s portfolio is developed and delivered by St John’s Institute specialists and invited speakers. Although the Academy acknowledges industry partners, it states that their support does not influence the content or delivery of its educational activities.
