## Description

St. Nicholas of Tolentine Italian Festival is an annual community celebration presented by St. Nicholas of Tolentine Parish in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Held on the 1700 block of South 9th Street, the festival takes place on the first Sunday of October and has been presented since 1987. Rooted in the parish’s commitment to preserving the faith and spirit of early Italian immigrants, it brings together visitors for a day centered on faith, family, and tradition.

The festival showcases Italian food from restaurants around the region, with favorites such as pizza, cannoli, and baked goods, alongside beverages and wine tastings. Guests can enjoy live music and more than six hours of scheduled entertainment. Family activities include rides, games, face painting, Sandy Candy, and sand art. The event is free to attend, while food, beverages, rides, games, and shopping are available for purchase. The parish also welcomes volunteers, donations, and participants in its procession. Festival details, including schedules, menus, history, and updates, are shared through its website and social media.
