## Description

Stockholms Galoppsällskap (SGS) is a non-profit association dedicated to supporting and promoting thoroughbred horse racing in the Stockholm region. It works with Svensk Galopp to help organise racing events and encourage wider interest in the sport. The association also represents its members’ interests, seeks to strengthen the regional racing community, and supports the development of horse breeding.

SGS welcomes horse owners, people active in racing, and anyone interested in galoppsport. Membership offers an opportunity to take part in the association and contribute to the future of racing in the region. The organisation shares news, notices, documents, newsletters, and information about membership and its annual meeting through its website. It also highlights champions and invites visitors to learn about experiencing racehorse ownership for a day.

Based in the Stockholm area and associated with Bro Park, Stockholms Galoppsällskap serves as a community organisation for people connected to horses and racing. Its work centres on collaboration, member engagement, racing events, and helping the sport and breeding thrive locally.
