# stolpersteine-hamburg.de - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `stolpersteine-hamburg.de` ## Description **Brand Description: Stolpersteine Hamburg** Stolpersteine Hamburg is a poignant initiative founded by Kölner artist Gunter Demnig in 2002, aimed at commemorating the victims of Nazi persecution. The project installs small memorial stones at the former residences of the victims, ensuring that their stories are not forgotten. Each stone is engraved with key details: the names, birthplaces, and fates of those who suffered. The initiative promotes historical awareness by connecting the past with local communities, prompting reflection on the atrocities that began in neighborhoods rather than distant concentration camps. In addition to the Stolpersteine, the project features a biographical database, allowing users to search for names and details related both to the victims and to those who facilitated the regime's oppression. This dual lens of remembrance not only honors the fallen but also promotes an understanding of the social dynamics during this dark chapter in history. Through various events and research initiatives, Stolpersteine Hamburg continues to educate and engage the public, ensuring the legacy of those lost is kept alive. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idZ6Aecrbp/w/200/h/90/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1721750926284) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Dove Gray | #666666 | accent | | Cape Cod | #3b3f40 | dark | | Deep Blush | #e98283 | light | ## Fonts - TrebuchetMS — asset _(custom)_ - TrebuchetMS — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
