## Description

Stonewall Foundation is a renowned brand dedicated to strengthening the LGBTQ community and Movement. As a public foundation, they make strategic investments in organizations, projects, and leaders that advance queer liberation and promote racial, social, and economic justice. With over 30 issue areas covered, Stonewall raises funds and provides grants to hundreds of nonprofits every year. They also administer various donor funds and house six unique scholarship programs, including the country's largest program supporting LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers. Stonewall is committed to making a difference by not only providing funding but also equipping changemakers with the necessary tools through capacity building initiatives like free consulting, coaching, and monthly workshops. Their values are centered around equity, accountability, transparency, and trustworthiness. They prioritize ending the criminalization of queerness, supporting marginalized communities, embracing disability justice, fighting against racism and anti-Blackness, and serving undocumented immigrants and people involved in survival economies. Since its inception in 1990, Stonewall Foundation has evolved to focus on grassroots nonprofits and vulnerable populations, ramping up their fundraising and grantmaking efforts while involving the community at every step. They have numerous success stories, from uplifting undocumented LGBTQ students through scholarships to providing safe harbor for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, responding to emergency needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, and supporting transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary leaders. Various individuals and groups have benefitted from Stonewall's support, including theater companies, fashion programs, video game designers, transgender advocacy groups, and non-profit organizations. Stonewall Foundation continues to make a significant impact by empowering LGBTQ individuals and promoting equality in all aspects of society.
