## Description

Stoopfest is an annual, not-for-profit DIY music, comedy, and arts festival held throughout Lansing’s Eastside Neighborhood in Michigan. Rather than taking place in a single venue, the festival brings performances and art to a collection of parks, backyards, garages, and bars, all within walking distance of one another. This neighborhood-based format lets visitors explore local spaces while experiencing a varied program across the same day. Stoopfest also shares information to help attendees plan, including a festival map, getting-there guidance, accessibility details, and frequently asked questions. The event welcomes participation from artists, vendors, house-venue hosts, sponsors, and volunteers, with submission and application information provided through its website. Its galleries document past editions, including festival photography from several years, and previous lineups offer a look at earlier performers. Stoopfest is scheduled to return May 14–15, 2027, with artist submissions expected to open October 9, 2026. The festival’s community-centered approach connects creative performances with the neighborhood where they take place.
