Bird Island is an Australian-made floating platform designed to help prevent birds, bees and other small animals from drowning in water sources. Invented in Far North Queensland in 2017 and manufactured by Gough Plastics in Townsville, the Bird Island Trough Sentinel System gives wildlife a place to land, drink and climb out.
