## Description

The National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) is dedicated to advancing youth sports, focusing on benefits, inclusion, and safety for young athletes across the nation. Founded in 1979, NCYS unites a diverse range of organizations, including national governing bodies and community groups, to serve approximately 60 million youth registered in sports programs each year. Their mission is to enhance the quality, safety, and accessibility of youth sports, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive both physically and emotionally.

NCYS provides a variety of resources, including education on injury prevention, coaching techniques, and advocacy for equitable access to sports. They address key challenges in youth athletics, such as minimizing injuries and promoting high-quality coaching. By equipping parents, coaches, and policymakers with reliable tools and data, NCYS fosters inspiring and secure sports environments where young athletes can compete and grow holistically. Through their initiatives, NCYS champions the positive development of youth, ensuring a supportive and enriching athletic experience for all.
