# StopUMTS - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `stopumts.nl` ## Description StopUMTS is an independent Dutch information initiative founded in 2004. Although its name reflects the original focus on UMTS, the website now covers electromagnetic fields and health more broadly. It publishes information about radiofrequency emissions from wireless communications, including mobile phone masts, smartphones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, radar, smart meters and baby monitors, as well as low-frequency electric and magnetic fields from power lines and household appliances. Its stated aim is to inform the public about potential health effects and encourage discussion of exposure limits and alternatives to wireless communication. The site offers introductory guidance, articles, research summaries, news, personal accounts, legal information, frequently asked questions, illustrations, brochures and links to related organisations. Topics are organised by year and subject, with material concerning the Netherlands and international developments. StopUMTS describes itself as a collaboration involving ICT professionals, a physicist and contributors who send in information. It also works with related organisations, including Stichting EHS. Reader contact is an important part of its work. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Public Health and Safety _(under Health)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idWaud0wjt/w/800/h/152/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792326152426) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Guardsman Red | #bb0000 | accent | | Silver | #cdcdcd | light | | Mine Shaft | #333333 | dark | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
