## Description

Stopy Paměti is a project run by an association of journalists and historians, dedicated to preserving the memories of people who opposed or were affected by Nazi and communist totalitarian regimes in the Olomouc region of the Czech Republic. Through personal recollections, the project documents individual experiences and makes them accessible to the public, helping keep the history of totalitarianism connected to the lives of those who witnessed it. Its website presents profiles of numerous contributors, including Zdena Mašínová, Hildegard Sedlářová, Libuše Zaoralová and Karel Mornstein-Zierotin, alongside a searchable list of names and links to related historical and remembrance organisations. Stopy Paměti is supported by foundations, civic institutions, businesses and other partners, including the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes and the City of Mohelnice. The association is based in Olomouc and provides contact information for enquiries and support. By collecting and sharing personal testimony, Stopy Paměti offers a focused resource for learning about the human impact of two periods of political oppression.
