## Description

Storeys of Lancaster Football Club is a community football club with roots dating back to 1887, when it began as a works team for Storey Bros of Lancaster. Based at York Road in Bowerham, Lancaster, the club combines a long playing history with a commitment to developing football across age groups.

The club fields two senior men’s teams. Its first team competes in the West Lancashire Football League, while the reserves play in the West Lancashire Reserve Division. Storeys also runs academy teams for boys and girls aged 4 to 16, alongside teams including under-7s, under-8s and under-8 Colts. A veterans team is also listed among its sides.

Led by an organised committee, the club has pursued a higher standard of senior football and aims to provide a quality setting for players to develop and compete. Its move into the West Lancashire League was intended in part to help retain youth graduates who might otherwise join other clubs.
