## Description

Storl Akademie is an online learning platform focused on medicinal plants, wild herbs, ethnobotany, and natural ways of life. Its courses combine botanical knowledge with practical guidance, helping learners identify and understand plants and explore their uses at home and in nature. Offerings include individual online courses and an annual plant-knowledge course led by ethnobotanist Wolf-Dieter Storl, with lessons delivered digitally at a flexible pace. Topics range from local flora, tree lore, and herbal home remedies to seasonal incense practices, traditional Chinese medicine approaches using local herbs, and plants in folklore and shamanic traditions. The academy also offers specialist training in ethnobotany and naturopathy, subject to availability. Courses are taught by a diverse group of contributors, including ethnologists, physicians, herbal practitioners, and other plant specialists. Learners can access purchased courses through the Storl Akademie app, and the platform provides a newsletter, course information, and customer support. Its program aims to make traditional and contemporary plant knowledge accessible through structured online instruction and practical recipes and guidance.
