## Description

StoryRetriever is a visual story app for families, schools, clinics, and speech-language professionals. It helps users make everyday situations more familiar by creating personalized visual stories from a child’s own photos, simple words, and voice recordings. Stories can support routines at home, school, appointments, and other everyday moments, and are read one page at a time at the child’s pace.

Users can create stories, browse a story library, and make communication boards. Families and professionals can share stories through secure links, allowing recipients to read without an account. Professionals can control whether families may edit or reshare shared stories. The app is designed by speech-language pathologists and includes educational guides written by Emily Lawrence, CCC-SLP.

StoryRetriever works on Apple and Android devices, Chromebooks, and modern web browsers, with offline access on every plan. A free plan includes one story, one shared story, one communication board, and one child profile; paid family plans start at $4.99 per month. Schools and practices can request organization pricing and plan staff or family access.
