## Description

The European Christmas Market (ECM) in St. Paul, Minnesota, embodies the festive spirit of traditional Christmas markets dating back centuries in Europe. Established in 2014, ECM has quickly evolved from a modest gathering of 12 vendors to a vibrant celebration featuring 60 kiosks and attracting over 130,000 visitors annually. This enchanting event offers families an immersive experience showcasing handcrafted ornaments, nutcrackers, beeswax candles, woolen mittens and scarves, jewelry, and a delightful array of festive foods like Glühwein, roasted nuts, and sizzling sausages.

Dedicated to reviving European cultural heritage in the United States, ECM supports local artisans and educates attendees about time-honored traditions through an authentic, family-friendly atmosphere. The market not only celebrates the essence of the holiday season but also fosters community connection and goodwill. With roots in German and Scandinavian customs, the European Christmas Market has become a cherished holiday staple, inviting everyone to partake in a unique blend of history, art, and festive joy.
