## Description

Отечественные записки is a Russian literary, political, and scholarly journal whose website preserves an archive of issues published from 2001 to 2014. The archive brings together the journal’s past editions and articles, organized by year and issue, and offers readers a broad range of themed discussions. Topics include education, medicine, culture, science, social policy, migration, memory, government, law, the economy, and Russia’s place in the world. The site also provides information about the journal’s authors and editorial team, alongside sections for publications and the protection of rights. It announces a legal service established by the creative association Отечественные записки for readers and authors, with further details available in the rights section. The website is therefore both a digital record of the journal’s earlier work and a resource for exploring its contributors, editorial history, and subject areas. It asks users who reproduce or quote its materials to credit the journal. The archive is associated with the Отечественные записки Foundation.
