## Description

Strange Ways is a unique and curated shop based in New Haven, CT that offers a wide range of memorable items for your wardrobe and home. With an irreverent and fun vibe, our products are often stamped with our distinct style. Launched online in 2014, we opened a physical storefront in 2015 to enhance our brand and customer experience. Our ethos revolves around smaller statement pieces such as pins and patches that allow you to effortlessly express yourself and add flair to everyday life. We collaborate with over 100 independent artists and designers, ensuring a constantly evolving selection of fresh and innovative products. Our founder, Alex Dakoulas, a lifestyle designer with a background in creating products for major brands, leads us in providing a wide range of high-quality items. At Strange Ways, we go beyond curating interesting products - we create them too. Our exclusive collaborations and unique items offer you a fresh perspective and a touch of inspiration. Whether you're looking to customize your wardrobe or home, we focus on carrying moderately-priced, smaller-sized items that cater to your unique taste. By supporting independent creatives and working directly with artists and small brands, we provide an authentic and genuine shopping experience. We pride ourselves on our ethical approach, operating consciously, and supporting creative entrepreneurs with small businesses. As a queer-owned business, we strive to feature LGBTQ+ artists, have a dedicated section for American-made items, and actively support BIPOC makers. Additionally, we make donations to various nonprofits throughout the year. Shopping with Strange Ways is not just easy, it's also rewarding. With excellent customer service and a personal touch, we aim to make you feel good about your purchase. Join us in celebrating individuality and expressing your unique style with our one-of-a-kind products.
