# Strathtay Harriers - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `strathtayharriers.co.uk` ## Description Perth Strathtay Harriers is a volunteer-led athletics club serving Perth, Kinross and the surrounding area. Established in the 1940s, the club has more than 200 members, from children aged five to senior athletes, and welcomes people of all abilities. Its focus is to build an informed, educated and inclusive athletics community, supporting participants to take part, progress and perform. The club provides athletics training and opportunities to compete, with sessions at the George Duncan Athletics Arena on Gowans Terrace in Perth. Young athletes are encouraged to enjoy taking part and can progress into more specialised coaching as they develop. Members regularly compete at local and national events, and some go on to national and international competition. Qualified coaches and experienced volunteers play a central role in delivering the club’s activities and supporting athletes.
