## Description

StrayKind is a UK-registered charity dedicated to rescuing and providing lifelong care for stray dogs and cats in northern Taiwan. Formerly known as Animal Care Trust, the organisation operates three sanctuaries and offers a 24-hour emergency rescue service. Its work focuses on animals facing danger or severe hardship, including those injured by illegal wire snares, living with serious illness, or unable to find care elsewhere.

StrayKind arranges rescue callouts and veterinary treatment, then provides food, shelter and ongoing support for animals in its care. It also helps dogs and cats find homes through rehoming in Taiwan, and shares their stories, progress and recovery through photographs and updates. People can support the work with one-off or monthly donations, or by fostering and adopting an animal. Donations fund animal care as well as the charity’s operating and fundraising costs, which StrayKind reports transparently. The organisation also publishes regular rescue news and provides information about its sanctuaries, animals and ways to help.
