## Description

Street Art Sheffield is an independent, self-funded website dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness of Sheffield’s street art and graffiti scene. Documenting the city and wider area since 2014, it brings together information about artworks, artists and locations, helping residents and visitors discover the creative work found across the Steel City.

The site’s interactive map highlights more than 300 locations, while its gallery features over 700 works, both recent and historic. These include feature walls, paste-ups, painted shutters and temporary artwork on boarded-up buildings. Visitors can browse the map and gallery, explore featured artists, and read blog articles about local art and events. The website also shares information about Lick of Paint, described as Sheffield’s first biennial street art festival, and invites people to share their photographs using #SheffieldStreetArt.

Street Art Sheffield provides a focused online guide to the city’s changing outdoor art landscape. Its collection documents more than 1,200 artworks across 500-plus locations and features contributions from over 250 artists, making the site a useful resource for discovering Sheffield’s public creativity.
