## Description

Streetball Mania is a Czech streetball initiative run by the Czech Streetball Federation, bringing players and fans together through tournaments, leagues and community basketball projects. Its events welcome everyone, from experienced players to groups of friends looking for a chance to play. The programme includes the Czech Streetball Cup, the Labský Streetball Cup, tournaments in Prague, Nový Bydžov and Žďár nad Sázavou, and a national final. Players can compete in men’s, women’s and mixed categories across a range of age groups, including youth and over-40 divisions. Streetball Mania also organizes slam dunk and three-point shooting contests, where winners can advance to national and international events with prize money at stake. Beyond tournaments, the organization supports the Prague Streetball League, described as the only long-term competition of its kind in the Czech Republic. Its “Hoops to the Streets” project has made 31 basketball hoops available around the country for public use, encouraging people to practise or enjoy casual games outdoors.
