The Consortium for Street Children is a dedicated brand working to support and empower street children around the world. Street children, some of the most vulnerable on the planet, rely on public spaces for their livelihoods. Not all street-connected children are necessarily homeless, as they may return to their families at night.

The term "streetism" describes living on the streets, prevalent in Anglophone Africa. Numerous factors, including economic poverty, family breakdown, and abuse, can drive children to the streets. The exact number of street children worldwide remains unknown due to the dynamic nature of this population and the challenges in counting them accurately.

Stigma, invisibility, and lack of trust in authorities further complicate the issue. The Consortium for Street Children is conducting research to develop better methodologies for effectively counting and supporting these marginalized children.
