## Description

Handboogvereniging Strijd in Vrede is an archery club based in Beek en Donk, with roots dating back to its founding in 1910. The club welcomes members to train under the guidance of a certified instructor, who teaches essential techniques such as stance, anchoring and release. Tuesday evening sessions are available for young people and beginners from around age 10, and the club provides equipment for newcomers, with help available for buying or renting personal gear.

Members can practise indoor, FITA, field and 3D archery. Facilities include indoor shooting distances of 18 and 25 metres, an outdoor range extending to 70 metres, a 3D course and a clubhouse with a bar. Strijd in Vrede also organises group clinics, where colleagues, friends or families can enjoy a friendly archery competition.

The club has a history of participation and success at regional, Dutch and international competitions, including championships in target, field and 3D archery. Its current clubhouse opened in 1997, and additional outdoor lanes built in 2012 enabled training at Olympic distances.
