## Description

Strings is a decentralized, mobile-first ecosystem for mining and secure network verification, built on Strings Core and developed by Thread Lab LLC. Its app lets users create a node using an email account, start mining sessions, and help verify network activity without dedicated hardware or an upfront fee. Mining can accrue in the background while a node remains connected; users return to verify sessions and claim their earnings.

Strings offers mobile apps for iOS and Android, as well as a web app for mining from a browser. The network also includes a referral program: when invited users create nodes and become active, their activity can add to the inviter’s hashrate. Account authentication and server-verified sessions, earnings, and balances are designed to support secure participation. Users select a country during signup, which determines how earnings are distributed at payout.
