## Description

L. Stroetmann is a Münster-based family business with roots dating back to 1791. Working with around 1,700 employees, the company operates across four business areas: food, agriculture, pet food and real estate. Its long-standing experience and broad activities make it a partner for both commercial customers and retailers.

In food, L. Stroetmann serves customers through retail and wholesale, including cash-and-carry markets and delivery wholesale for businesses. Its agricultural division focuses on seed wholesale, offering products such as cereals, maize, legumes, lawn and greening mixtures, and agricultural blends. In pet food, the company supplies retailers serving owners of dogs, cats, birds and small animals. It also works with its own brands and develops and produces private-label products.

Through its real estate business, L. Stroetmann develops, plans and builds EDEKA markets, from standalone locations to local shopping centres, for its group and the retailers it supports. The company describes its approach as acting for the future, with sustainability, partnerships and ongoing development among its broader areas of focus.
