## Description

Stroud Brick and Rolling Pin Throwing Competition is an annual community event held in July at Stroud Showground in Stroud, New South Wales. It brings together the four townships named Stroud: those in Gloucestershire, England; Oklahoma, United States; Ontario, Canada; and New South Wales, Australia. The event celebrates local character with a light-hearted test of strength and skill, inviting participants to throw a brick, hurl a rolling pin or fling a rubber chook.

The 2027 event is scheduled for Saturday, 10 July, at Stroud Showground, Cowper Street. The program includes a parade themed “I Still Call Australia Home,” followed by registration for the brick and rolling pin competitions. Visitors can also explore the show and enjoy its activities. Tickets are available at the gates, with prices listed for adults, children and families. The event welcomes stallholders, who can apply through the website. Its pages provide information about the program, stallholder participation, sponsors, competition results and contact details, helping attendees and participants plan their visit.
