## Description

Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region (STSWR) coordinates school transportation information and services for students and families in Waterloo Region, Ontario. Its website helps families determine whether a student is eligible for bus service, find route and transportation details through the Parent Portal, and check current bus delays, cancellations, and school closures. Eligible students can use an online form to decline transportation or request reinstatement.

For families whose students walk or wheel to school, STSWR provides Walk Zone resources, school travel plans, maps, and programs designed to support safer active travel. Its Drive to 5 initiative offers maps to help families choose drop-off and pick-up locations away from busy school zones. The organization also publishes frequently asked questions, policies, procedures, forms, news, and guidance for navigating transportation arrangements. Families can find information about school boundaries and eligibility, while bus operators can access operator resources and recruitment information. STSWR also shares updates through its website and social media and provides contact details for families seeking assistance.
