## Description

StubSet is a sports ticket catalog and collecting platform for fans who want to organize their tickets, explore sports history, and connect with other collectors. Its verified historical database covers more than 359,000 events across major leagues and competitions, including baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer, with records dating back to 1876. Events are sourced and checked, with details covering teams, eras, franchise changes, and notable milestones such as perfect games, walk-offs, and record-setting achievements.

Collectors can log tickets against historical event records, add information about team, era, condition, and context, and track their collections in one place. Curated sets provide goals for building themed collections, including the World Series, Super Bowls, Michael Jordan games, Stanley Cup Finals, and FIFA World Cups. Members can monitor set completion, create wantlists for games they are seeking, discover relevant events and teams, and connect with collectors who share their interests. StubSet describes cataloging and collecting as free, and also offers community-governed contributions, collector leaderboards, and editorial guides about the hobby.
