## Description

At Student Finance NI, we understand that where you're from and where you live can impact the funding options available to you as a student. That's why we offer a variety of financial support options for undergraduate full-time students in Northern Ireland. Whether you're a UK or Irish citizen, have settled status, or fall under the EU settlement scheme, we're here to help. As a Northern Ireland student, you must have been living in the UK and Islands for three years prior to the start of your course. Additionally, you must reside in Northern Ireland on or before the first day of the academic year. We also consider eligible exception residency types, such as refugees or stateless persons. If you don't meet the criteria for a Northern Ireland student, you may still be eligible for funding as a European Union student. EU students who have settled or pre-settled status and have been living in the UK, Gibraltar, the EEA (including the Republic of Ireland), or Switzerland for at least three years before the start of their course can apply. If you're unsure about your eligibility, don't worry. Our team is here to assist you and provide information on alternative funding sources. Visit our website to see what finance options are available and download the necessary forms to get started. At Student Finance NI, we're committed to helping you pursue your education without financial barriers.
