## Description

Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) is a global network of young people and activists working tirelessly in solidarity with the Tibetan people. Our mission is to support and empower Tibetans in their ongoing struggle for freedom and independence. Through grassroots organizing, education, and nonviolent direct action, we campaign for Tibetans' fundamental right to political freedom. As a chapter-based organization, we provide training and resources to youth leaders around the world, enabling them to actively participate in the movement for social justice. Our vision goes beyond Tibetan independence; we strive to inspire and empower individuals, especially young people, to create a just and equitable world, free from oppression and with respect for all living things. With a firm belief in the power of nonviolent action, we have shown that positive change is possible.
