## Description

Studio Ikigai is a children’s wellbeing and development studio in Rotterdam, offering a safe, welcoming space where children can build confidence, resilience and connection. Its activities balance movement with moments of calm, helping children explore who they are, recognize what they need and relate positively to others.

The studio runs Rots & Water resilience training tailored to children’s ages and stages. Kleuterkracht serves groups 1–3, Knap Sterk is for groups 4–6, and Sterker in je schoenen is designed for groups 7–8 and first-year secondary students. Through play, movement and reflection, children practise standing firm, recognizing feelings, setting boundaries and handling social pressure.

Studio Ikigai also offers children’s yoga and relaxation in small groups. Kleine Rustmakers is for ages four to eight, while Rustmakers supports children in groups 5–8 with mindfulness, breathing, self-regulation and managing emotions and stimuli. In addition, the studio organizes camp days at De Torteltuin, combining outdoor play, creative activities, shared experiences and relaxation with attentive guidance.
