Studio Gallery is the longest running artist-owned gallery in Washington, DC, showcasing contemporary artworks by both emerging and established artists. Founded in 1956 by renowned artist Jennie Lea Knight, the gallery boasts an impressive collection of contemporary art in a wide variety of media. Knight's own work can be found in prestigious institutions such as The National Gallery of Art, The Corcoran Gallery of Art, the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Philips Collection, and the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.

Located in an elegant townhouse near Dupont Circle and Washington’s Embassy Row, Studio Gallery offers over 2300 square feet of exhibition space on two well-lit floors, along with a charming sculpture garden. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the gallery not only showcases artworks by its members but also hosts special exhibitions by guest artists and curators.
